I'm Marc Brouwer — an IT professional based in Amsterdam with over two decades of experience in operational management, customer service infrastructure, and technical support. My background includes hands-on work in large-scale IT environments, including roles at Ziggo.

Now I'm making my move. After years of building operational instincts and systems thinking, I'm channeling it into cybersecurity. The OptiSec SOC Analyst training program is my bridge — a 9-month trajectory built to put me in a Security Operations Center.

My goal is government or defense security. Where the stakes are real. Where the work matters. Where pattern recognition, calm under pressure, and 20 years of troubleshooting instincts actually count for something.
